Kichi Inc. was founded by Salim and Tomoko Khassa in 2005 as a provider of high quality cards, prints, and wrapping paper for customers who desire an elegant, affordable way to display their artistic tastes to others through special individual gift giving.
Kichi Inc. now offers dozens of designs to a client base from NYC to London, Tokyo to Paris and beyond. The success of the past three years derives from the couple’s ongoing pursuit of excellence in creation of new appealing designs and delivering them efficiently to market in the Four Corners of the globe.

Osaka born Tomoko is a gifted artist who was fascinated by traditional Japanese culture and art who forged her own unique path in apprentice years at college in Kobe, Japan and at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Her serene, evocative nature scenes have been displayed at gallery shows on both American coasts, and at venerable fashion institutions such as Neiman Marcus,Macys and more. Tomoko’s signature style creates an ever-increasing demand for her graceful, eye-opening designs.

Salim Khassa was born in Algeria and grew up in the rowdy, chaotic streets of Marseille, France. This provided a severe challenge and quick learning curve that led to an acute business sense that found him running his own business by age sixteen. With sheer willpower, energy in barrels, and “making his own luck” along the way, he has now grown internationally with the balance provided by the artistic talent of his wife Tomoko.
